TALKS OF BALE TRANSFER CONTINUE
The talks of Gareth Bale moving to the Premier League have refused to end, even after the player seemed to have ended speculations in that regards when Real Madrid won their third Champions League title in four years.
The Welsh star had recommitted his focus to the Spanish side but there are still strong links to a return to England. Manchester United are the likely option if Bale agrees to return to the Premier League with Jose Mourinho keen on the player.
The former Tottenham winger is also linked with a possible move to Paris St Germain this summer. The French side are ready to break world record to land the player. Madrid broke the record in 2013 when they lured Bale to the Spanish capital for £85million.
Man United broke the record when they resigned Paul Pogba from Juventus last summer. PSG are willing to spend in the region of £15o million to get a new star, according to sport Journalist Eduardo Inda. The report claims the same fee the club wanted to spend in luring Brazilian star Neymar to the Ligue 1 is the same fee they deemed enough to convince Madrid.
The 27-year old Bale has not provided Madrid with the expected returns following his transfer. With Cristiano Ronaldo still likely to take the spotlight in the forthcoming season, Madrid might be tempted to get two times their investment now.
Real Madrid themselves are also willing to break world record to sign teenage star Kylian Mbappe from Monaco. The French side have refused to sell their prized asset but Madrid are not deterred. Numerous top sides are keen on the player, even Arsenal. For now it seems he would remain in France. Without the transfer, Madrid have little excuse to release Bale.
